A MEDITERRANEAN INSIGHT OF SURF CULTURE

The BCNSFF is bred from the desire of showing, enjoying and getting inspired by a culture barely present in the Catalan society: the surf culture. More than a sport, surf is a lifestyle, a way of understanding society and nature that we all share but that we do not all treat the same. With the Festival we intend to give everyone access to these experiences and we are excited to be an annual gathering for the surf lovers in Barcelona. We hope to inspire new adventures and personal endeavours.
We aspire to be a positive, constructive & revitalizing initiative for the society, surfer or not, since we all undoubtedly belong to this world.
The BCNSFF is a surf film festival international without forgetting the incomparable and particular background we live in. We have something unique, different, that we love and that characterizes us and we do not want to forget: the Mediterranean Sea. For this reason we deeply hope the promotion of local edits. To begin with, there will be screened 3 high quality short-films in this year’s edition.
Barcelona Surf Film Festival, a Mediterranean insight of surf culture.
